Good News! RDG Supply Chain Earns Ecovadis Bronze Certification

 Date:2026/8/3 10:05:28 Num:64

We're proud to share some good news: RDG has been awarded the EcoVadis Bronze

Medal.
For anyone who hasn't come across it, EcoVadis is one of the most respected names in
sustainability ratings. Their review isn't a rubber stamp — they dig into four areas:
environment, labor and human rights, ethical business conduct, and sustainable
sourcing. Their ratings cover more than 200 industries, and a lot of companies use them
to judge how their partners are actually doing on sustainability, not just what they say.
So passing that review means something to us. The Bronze Medal puts our overall
score in the top 35% of companies EcoVadis rates worldwide, and we scored especially
well on sustainable sourcing and environmental management. We're genuinely happy
about that.
What we've been doing
None of this happened overnight. "Green supply chain" and "social responsibility" aren't
slogans we hang on the wall — they're built into how we run the business. A few of the
things behind this result:
We've reworked our transport routes to cut waste, and we're moving toward new-energy
vehicles and lower-carbon warehousing.
We screen our suppliers carefully, and we run CSR training with them through the year
— because our footprint is only as good as theirs.
Every one of our employees is covered by full social insurance, and we've put real work
into health and safety on the job.
With industry partners, we kicked off a Green Packaging Recycling Program to bring
down both costs and carbon across the chain.
As Mr. Xu put it: "Sustainability isn't just our responsibility as a company — it's what our
customers, partners, and society expect of us. This award is a nice recognition of the
team's work, but honestly it's more of a push to keep going."
Where we go from here
We're not treating this as a finish line. The Bronze Medal earns us a bit more trust with
clients — it's independent proof that our supply chain is compliant and responsible,
which matters a lot when we're bidding on international work. It also gives us a clearerpicture of where to improve. EcoVadis hands you detailed feedback, and we're already
using ours to tighten things up, with Silver — and eventually Gold — in our sights.
Beyond that, we'll keep leaning into the harder stuff: tracking our carbon footprint
properly, exploring circular-economy ideas, and working with the partners up and down
our chain to make the whole thing more sustainable, not just our slice of it.
Thanks
Mostly, this comes down to our team and the partners who've been in it with us. From
the first commitment to the actual day-to-day work, you're the reason we earned this.
The Bronze Medal is an honor — but it's also a responsibility, and we don't take it lightly.

Here's to the road ahead!
